Today Labour MPs had a chance to vote for a full national inquiry into the rape gangs scandal.
They could have stood with the thousands of victims and helped deliver justice.
They could have helped us learn from institutional failings, so that local authorities never fail our women and girls like this again.
But instead, they sided with Keir Starmer, who thinks calling for an inquiry is a 'far-right bandwagon'.
Help us hold them to account for this shocking betrayal by sharing our latest graphic with people you know.
the only way to expose those who turned a blind eye to the torture and rape on an industrial scale is by holding a full inquiry.
One which:
- Examine the failings among police, prosecutors, charities, academics, and local and national government.
- Considers the religious or racial motivations for these crimes.
- Identifies those public servants who facilitated or ignored this abuse so they can be removed from their roles.
And any foreign nationals involved in the abuse must be deported.
We need a full national inquiry into this scandal which shames our country. Please sign our petition calling for one today.
