In 2024, I'll be knocking on the door!
The Westmorland and Lonsdale Conservatives and I wish you a very Happy New Year!
And yes, I can’t wait to get to know every one of you in the New Year.
My concern for the future of Westmorland and Lonsdale is what drives me to take action. I believe we can achieve more, and it's this sense of possibility that motivates me to serve and work towards a better future for us all.
So, let's get serious: The Lib Dems are in for a reality check next year. They've ridden on the coattails of others' successes for too long. Now, we're setting the record straight.
In our new constituency, cast aside any notion of it being a safe Lib Dem seat. A Conservative victory in Westmorland and Lonsdale can be achieved, and in 2024 we can, together, turn it Blue.
As for me, reflecting on 2023, I'm proud of these three achievements:
(1) Marching in the Coronation of King Charles III - Representing my unit at His Majesty’s Coronation was an extraordinary experience. It was an honour, with a poignant connection as my Granddad once lined the streets for Queen Elizabeth II’s Coronation.
(2) Serving as a Community First Responder - Throughout the year, I've dedicated significant time to being a First Responder, always ready to assist people on their toughest days. From Kendal to Windermere to Grasmere, I've answered calls to offer help. I encourage individuals, particularly those in rural areas, to consider serving in this capacity. NWAS (North West Ambulance Service) is incredible, and I commend their commitment to our community. Right now, as you read this, they are waiting and ready to help!
And, of course…
(3) Being selected as your Conservative Candidate for Westmorland and Lonsdale - our home. The true journey starts now. It's an honour to be chosen, and I'm dedicated to turning this into impactful action.
My commitment is to serve you to the best of my abilities, ensuring a positive impact.
